The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star is dealing with custody drama, allegations involving drug tests, a fractured MomTok and the fallout from her unaired Bachelorette season — all while preparing to return for Season 6.

If you thought Taylor Frankie Paul's life couldn't possibly get more complicated after The Secret Lives of Mormon WivesSeason 5, think again.

In just the past few weeks, we've learned what happened during her unaired season of The Bachelorette, watched her admit she cheated on her fiancé with Dakota Mortensen, seen MomTok seemingly fracture around her — and now, new reports claim her parenting time has been significantly reduced amid her ongoing custody disputes.

So, yes. There is a lot to unpack.

Taylor Reportedly Had Her Parenting Time Reduced

The most serious recent development involves Taylor's three children.

TMZ reported on Sept. 16 that Taylor allegedly failed multiple court-ordered drug tests over the previous 60 days amid her custody disputes with ex-husband Tate Paul and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

According to the outlet's sources, Taylor's parenting time was subsequently reduced to eight hours per week: four hours with Indy and Ocean, whom she shares with Tate, and four hours with Ever, her son with Dakota. The substances allegedly detected have not publicly been identified.

Taylor has not publicly addressed the specific drug-test allegations.

There is also an important caveat here: the relevant juvenile court proceedings are confidential and subject to a gag order, meaning the details being reported have not been publicly laid out in court records available for independent review.

A source close to Taylor pushed back on the information becoming public, characterizing the leaks as part of continuing harassment during the custody battle.

Meanwhile, Mormon Wives Just Revealed Her Bachelorette Bombshell

As if that weren't enough, Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives finally gave viewers some answers about Taylor's mysterious — and ultimately shelved — season of The Bachelorette.

And the ending was major.

Taylor got engaged.

Her final choice was Doug Mason, who proposed during filming. But whatever Bachelor Nation love story might have existed didn't survive very long once Taylor returned to Utah.

Because Dakota was still in the picture.

Season 5 revealed that Taylor continued sleeping with Dakota after returning from The Bachelorette — while she was still engaged to Doug.

Taylor eventually ended the engagement.

So, somewhere in a vault exists an entire season of The Bachelorette in which viewers would have watched Taylor find her future husband, accept a proposal and seemingly get her happy ending.

Meanwhile, we now know what was happening after the cameras stopped.

You genuinely could not write this.

Taylor Says She's Done Dating — For Now

Taylor appears to know that her romantic life needs a reset.

On Sept. 12, she told followers that she has remained “single and celibate” and said she doesn't plan on becoming intimate with anyone again unless she believes he's her person.

She also acknowledged that the redemption arc some viewers expected to see hasn't exactly happened yet.

Considering Season 5 showed her caught between Doug, Dakota and her lingering connection with Ben Lambert, taking a break from dating might be one of the biggest changes we've seen from Taylor.

But relationships aren't the only thing falling apart around her.

MomTok Is Fracturing

Taylor is also having major issues with some of her Mormon Wives costars.

In a recent Instagram Story, Taylor said she had stayed off her phone only to return and find more videos seemingly directed toward her.

She explained that she's continuing with the show because she wants to tell her story and believes she has a larger purpose for doing so. She also pushed back against the idea that she's the person some of her castmates portray her to be.

And one MomTok member has already decided she doesn't want to be part of the next chapter.

Mikayla Matthews is leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Variety reports that Mikayla's departure comes as Taylor prepares to return for Season 6. Mikayla has publicly said she doesn't want to participate in something she believes gives a platform to abuse.

That means this is no longer just another MomTok friendship feud.

There are cast members making decisions about whether they even want to film together.

But Taylor IS Coming Back

Despite everything surrounding her right now, Taylor Frankie Paul isn't leaving Mormon Wives.

Variety reported that Taylor is expected to begin filming Season 6 of the Hulu series.

And that season could be very different from anything we've watched before.

Season 5 was unusually short, consisting of only five episodes after production was paused amid the legal turmoil surrounding Taylor and Dakota. It ends essentially in the middle of the story, meaning Season 6 will have a lot of missing time to account for.

The custody disputes. The fallout with MomTok. The end of her Bachelorette engagement. Her relationship with Dakota. Mikayla leaving.

It's difficult to imagine Taylor not being at the center of the next season.

So, Where Does Taylor Stand Now?

Romantically, Taylor says she's single.

Professionally, she's returning to Mormon Wives.

Her Bachelorette season remains unaired after ABC pulled it days before its scheduled March premiere following the resurfacing of footage connected to her and Dakota's legal controversy.

And personally, she remains in ongoing custody disputes while facing serious new allegations about failed drug tests that she has not publicly addressed.

There are still major pieces of this story we don't know — particularly because the family court proceedings are confidential.

But one thing is clear:

Season 5 didn't wrap up the Taylor Frankie Paul saga.

It might have only been the setup for what's coming next.
